How did the Mutual Friend come about

Gabe and Deandre, having known each other since high school, reunited at a young adult Bible study. Sharing a deep connection through their mutual friend, Jesus, they found themselves drawn to the idea of starting a podcast.

Their discussions during the Bible study confirmed their shared passion for exploring life, real-world issues, and spirituality through meaningful conversations. As they embarked on this calling, they felt the need for another voice to enrich their discussions.

Enter Matthew, a close friend from high school who resonated with the concept and the shared connection to Jesus. Matthew joined the podcast full-time, bringing his unique perspective and experiences to the table.

Together, Gabe, Deandre, and Matthew formed a tight-knit team, inspired by their mutual friend, Jesus, to create content that goes beyond surface-level discussions. Their friendship, history, and shared values became the foundation for "Mutual Friend," a podcast that aims to foster genuine conversations about life's complexities and spirituality, all through the lens of their common connection to Jesus.
